Event Description
The Artist Collective is returning to High Hampton for another inspired weekend celebrating the arts. Featuring D.C. artist Jodi Ferrier, Atlanta Artist Britt McGraw and Nashville artist Lauren Ossolinski, this Event Weekend has so much in store – from wine by the fireplace to hands-on painting workshops leading you through various artistic styles on your own canvas. Talk art and culture with the Collective team, and enjoy a pop-up gallery shop and art collection discussion throughout the weekend.
Workshop with Jodi Ferrier
Join D.C. artist Jodi Ferrier for a lively painting workshop where you’ll relax, take creative risks and uncover an artistic personal style. Together, you’ll create an expressive floral painting, exploring dynamic brushwork and intuitive mark-making. Jodi will guide you through techniques to keep your practice loose and energetic with a playful approach to still-life painting.
Workshop with Britt McGraw
In this workshop, you will work side by side with Britt to explore her techniques of diluting acrylic paint and creating soft, fluidic, abstract underpaintings. After this base sets, you will have the opportunity to add handmade paper pieces in various shapes to build depth and texture through her teaching of collage and mixed media.
Workshop with Lauren Ossolinski
Lauren Ossolinski has been teaching classes to beginning painters throughout 2025 with great success. After a brief demo to help guests with composition, color mixing and brushwork, she will guide each student through their own oil painting. Her goal is for everyone to walk away with a beautiful creation that is uniquely theirs.
Workshop spaces are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event tuition is $50 per workshop. Event tuition is sold per person and separately from room. Meals are available for inclusion in room rate when booking the Winter Weekend Getaway package with the event. Taxes and a 20% service charge will be added on.

Britt McGraw
Artist
Britt McGraw is a self-taught, abstract artist. She has always had an affinity for the creative world and aesthetics: art, design, interiors, and fashion. After spending 10 years in New York City, working in designer fashion, she decided it was time to focus solely on her painting career. Britt works out of her home studio in Atlanta, where she explores color and technique through the juxtaposition of fluidity and form. Through this exploration, she aspires to create one-of-a-kind pieces that speak to the soul, awakening one's emotions through color and stroke.
