The Dining Room at High Hampton
The Dining Room at High Hampton has welcomed guests for over 100 years. The Dining Room is stylish and familiar with nods of historical details such as American Chestnut paneling, a wood burning stone fireplace, and large windows showcasing the stunning views of the High Hampton grounds and Rock Mountain, a local landmark. Azure blue chandeliers and modern artwork punctuate the space with added texture and color and offering an elegant lift to the comfortable setting.
The culinary team creates menus inspired by southern favorites, reimagined with local Blue Ridge Mountain ingredients, presenting fresh but recognizable dishes. Evening dining experiences are driven by fresh takes on tried-and-true dishes like North Carolina trout or Elysian Fields lamb with grits and greens. The finishing touch to each meal is an array of exciting dessert choices, breakfast breads and pastries.
The Dining Room exclusively hosts dinner service. You can make a reservation to gather for an elevated three-course prix fixe menu or, November-May, enjoy an abbreviated menu in the Dining Room lounge for a more casual dinner option.
Dining Attire
Dinner in the Dining Room is an elevated experience where guests look forward to dressing up. Kindly note that suits, dress pants, skirts, dresses, well-kept dark denim and collared shirts are great options. Ties are optional, while jackets are suggested. T-shirts, sporting attire, and casual wear are not permitted for dinner in the Inn Dining Room.
