Join us for a special weekend at High Hampton celebrating the book launch of The House Romantic, a manual to home design that is a reflection of the important moments and people in our lives by the founding style director at the award-winning Garden & Gun magazine, Haskell Harris.

Haskell Harris is the author of The House Romantic and founding style director at the national luxury lifestyle print magazine Garden & Gun, now known as G&G. Over the course of her twenty-year career in the shelter and lifestyle magazine world, Harris has contributed to dozens of publications, including Cottage Living, House Beautiful, Southern Accents, and Better Homes & Gardens.

In addition to a Champagne welcome reception, an exclusive book signing opportunity and an intimate celebration dinner, this special event also includes an inspired living room-style conversation between Haskell and The House Romantic book contributors, Barrie Benson and Natalie Steen.

Barrie Benson is an interior designer best known for balancing the modern with the traditional in her signature interiors. In addition to being regularly featured in top publications like AD and Garden & Gun, Barrie designs a signature line of furniture for Highland House, and a line of decorative hardware and accessories in collaboration with Addison Weeks. She also co-owns PEG NORRISS – which creates capsule collections for interiors through exclusive, custom collaborations with artists.

Natalie Steen is the creator of The Nat Note, a weekly, fashion-focused newsletter that delivers ready-to-shop style suggestions for women, kids & the home in her signature collages - the "Notes." The curated shopping edits have been shared with audiences since 2017 and are a reflection of Natalie's fresh, colorful & inventive personal style. Natalie is Cuban-American, Houston-based mother of three and a former attorney, having received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of Virginia.
