Inspired by the vibrant blooms of the Dahlia Garden, FLOWER Magazine is returning to High Hampton for three days of color and inspiration. Join us at the Inn with FLOWER Magazine Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Margot Shaw, and special guests Ann Mashburn, Suzanne Kasler and Christopher Spitzmiller as we explore flowers, fashion, design and more. High Hampton’s very own Dahlia Gardener, Drew English, will accompany the event to provide expert input and celebrate the history of Dahlias at the Inn.

Ann Mashburn's career in fashion began in editorial at Conde Nast, where she served as an assistant to famed Vogue fashion editor and stylist Polly Mellen, and worked alongside such visionary greats as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Steven Meisel. Following her time at Vogue, Ann was named fashion editor of Glamour and then went on to style at J.Crew.

Suzanne Kasler has been designing classic homes throughout the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa for more than thirty years. Recognized for creating luminous, distinct and timeless interiors, Suzanne’s signature spaces have an effortless appeal that inspires a beautiful and authentic lifestyle. Suzanne subscribes to the philosophy that interior architecture creates the envelope for the interiors, and as such, each design project is tailored to dovetail seamlessly with the architecture. At the heart of her work is a sense of place, and her versatile portfolio reflects Suzanne’s innate ability to create homes that reflect both their contexts and homeowners.
In addition to her interiors, Suzanne designs signature collections for Hickory Chair, Visual Comfort, Ballard Designs, Lee Jofa, La Cornue and Mirror Home. Each collection reflects Suzanne’s aesthetic, combining traditional design principles with a fresh, livable appeal.

Christopher Spitzmiller is known to his friends and Instagram fans as the ultimate weekend farmer, who raises his own handsome chickens, grows his own flowers and puts up his own jam, cider and honey. His lamps, tableware and other ceramics are found in every chic A-list interior, including the White House, and are regularly featured in celebrated publications. He is on the board of the Garden Conservancy and the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. Chris’ book, A Year at Clovebrook Farm, treats readers to a look at his idyllic but always active country retreat and features a foreword from the lifestyle doyenne, Martha Stewart.

Margot Shaw is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Flower Magazine. Now in its 16th year, the magazine has grown to include features on homes, gardens, entertaining and lifestyle. Margot is a sought-after speaker at antique & garden shows, museums, botanical gardens, interior design centers and more. She is the author of Living Floral: Entertaining and Decorating with Flowers, published by Rizzoli.
