We’re excited to enter 2026 with newly announced event weekends and established annual favorites that will keep this Winter and the seasons to follow extra invigorating. We have six exciting events on the horizon that we hope you will join us for.
Carrie Morey of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit is visiting High Hampton in January to teach her renowned biscuit making technique in a hands-on workshop. We invite you to hear the story behind the start-up of her business that honors her mother’s nationally beloved recipe and to learn it for yourself so you can make mouth-watering biscuits whenever you crave this Southern comfort.
With Mah Jongg becoming a growing favorite pastime for our team and guests, it’s only right that we offer an additional weekend to learn and perfect your gameplay! Dana Lange will be joining us once again to lead her signature Beginner and Beyond Beginner classes for players of every generation. Bond with the ones you love or even travel solo to make new friends while laying tiles. In addition to Mah Jongg with Dana Lange at the end of January, Mahj in the City will be joining us in the Spring for another weekend dedicated to engaging gameplay and time well spent with friends and family. Use this time to get away from the bustle of everyday life and to reconnect during a leisurely weekend with your favorite people.
Taste of the South, The Artist Collective and Dahlia Days will also be returning to High Hampton for more remarkable weekends. This year, Taste of the South is welcoming Guest Chef Vishwesh Bhatt, executive chef of Chai Pani D.C., and Winemaker Jasmine Hirsch of Hirsch Vineyards to help us celebrate the incredible culinary culture of the south through their intricately prepared meals and expertly crafted wines.
Three Artist Collective artists, Jodi Ferrier, Britt McGraw and Lauren Ossolinski, will lead artistic workshops teaching their core techniques. Whether you’re an invested artist or looking to explore a new hobby, join this weekend to reenergize your creativity and create beautiful keepsakes.
Now a fundamental High Hampton experience, Dahlia Days invites you to honor all things floral, fashion and design, led by industry leaders and our very own Dahlia gardener, Drew English, during our third annual celebration. This event fills up quickly, so don’t miss your chance to engage in one of our most anticipated events of the year.
