June 12, 2026 Summer Letter from the General Manager
I think this Summer at the Inn is going to be one of the most exciting yet. With the addition of our brand-new activities, now fully underway, there’s plenty of ways to plan your getaway just the way you like it. Whether that be by gaining some elevation on a guided hike or simply relaxing by the pool and soaking in the sun, take what you need and leave what you don’t.
Personally, I’ve loved seeing the roll-out of our fly fishing float trips. As a hobby I enjoy in my spare time, it’s been awesome seeing guests be able to get in on the fun as well. Our complimentary fly fishing clinics are a great way to get started if you haven’t fly fished before or are just needing a refresh. Stargazing has been another exceptional offering as we’ve moved into Summer. Warm temperatures and rewarding telescopic views of the night sky allow you to get more out of your day even after the sun has gone down.
Two new activities we’ve added in June are the addition of spa services through a partnership with Mantra Spa of Cashiers and Lake Glenville Scenic Waterfall Tours, both fantastic choices for keeping your getaway lowkey. While a therapeutic massage is always a nice way to unwind, cruising along Lake Glenville in a pontoon and sightseeing noteworthy local waterfalls and wildlife is one of the best ways to get the most out of Cashiers while still taking it easy.
If your interest is more in food and beverage, you’ve come to the right place! Cooking demonstrations and cocktail mixology classes are fun ways to learn some of your favorite recipes and walk away with a piece of High Hampton to enjoy at home. The Tavern is also now officially hosting dinner service, offering even more ways to dine while on property. The elevated, three course fine dining experience is still offered in the Dining Room, but join us in the Tavern to wrap up your activity-filled Summer day with a casual bite to eat.
However you choose to enjoy your time at the Inn this season, we can’t wait to welcome you!
Sincerely,
Luke Callaghan
