Three Summer Cocktails in a Line

The Summer heat isn’t easing off just yet. So, we’re sharing three of our favorite refreshing sips from the Beverage team that are perfect for keeping cool as you enjoy the season. Mix these up at home or make your plans to visit the Inn and we’ll have a glass waiting for you.

 

Cucumber Crush (Mocktail)

• 1 oz. cucumber syrup

• 1 oz. lime juice 

Shake the ingredients together and strain into a glass. Top with soda and garnish with a cucumber slice.

Cucumber Syrup 

• Peel 2-3 cucumbers.

• Juice with a juicer.

• Measure out the cucumber juice and mix with equal parts sugar.

• Mix until the sugar is dissolved.

 

April Showers (Mocktail) 

• 2 oz. lemonade

• 1 oz. hibiscus syrup 

• .75 oz. lime juice 

• .25 oz. ginger 

Shake ingredients together and strain into a glass. Top with club soda and garnish with lime wedge.

Hibiscus Syrup 

• ½ cup sugar 

• ½ cup water 

• ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers 

• Combine in a pot and simmer until the sugar is dissolved.

• Strain to remove the dried flower pieces.

 

Spicy Margarita 

• 2 oz. Altos blanco tequila

• .75 oz. lime juice

• .5 oz. dry curaçao

• .25 oz. lemon juice 

• .25 oz. simple syrup 

• 2 jalapeño slices

Shake ingredients together. If desired, coat the rim of your glass with salt, then strain your drink into the glass over ice. Garnish with a fresh jalapeño slice.
