A seasonal note from the Inn's General Manager, Stephen McLean

Greetings from High Hampton!

As the temperatures cool and Autumn colors begin to emerge across the Blue Ridge Mountains, I invite you to experience the best parts of the season at High Hampton. Across 1,400 acres, you’ll discover beautiful scenery, inspired menus and fun for the whole family. This season, we're especially looking forward to:

Unbeatable Views: Whether it’s by the fire pit, across 15 miles of private hiking trails or in the comfort of your own room, stunning views can be found all throughout property. The hike to Rock Mountain is well worth the climb! It gives a unique view of the property that just blows me away, and guests always seem to come back raving. There’s also nothing quite like roasting marshmallows with loved ones as you breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Holiday Traditions: High Hampton is beautiful in every season, but seeing the Inn decorated for the holidays adds that extra wow factor that I love sharing with guests. Let us make High Hampton your ideal home for the holidays by filling your days with delicious meals, beautiful scenery and classic holiday activities.

Seasonal Flavors: I always enjoy seeing the Food and Beverage team explore flavors of the season as they create new dishes, and we can’t wait to share them with guests! As they finalize Fall menus, the team has shared two of their most highly requested Fall recipes: Pastry Chef April Franqueza's Apple Pie and The Dining Room Bar's Wild Mountain Cocktail.

Rich History: I am honored to be connected to the meaningful experiences and memories High Hampton leaves with each guest. For over a century, our resort has been a beloved destination, and we want to continue that legacy. At our on-property History Center, guests can learn about the unique stories that have shaped High Hampton into the special place it is.

Every season at High Hampton offers an unforgettable experience, but there really is something special about Fall. We look forward to welcoming you at the Inn to enjoy the natural beauty and exciting adventures that make High Hampton such an incredible place this time of year.

Sincerely,

Stephen McLean
